Confessions For Your Prayer Life

I am confident that prayer works. The Bible says in Mark 11:24, “whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].” I endeavor to pray according to God’s will, I’m confident and I trust that I will receive those things I am praying and believing for. God is faithful to His Word!

Father, You have redeemed me from the darkness of this world. I refuse to allow strife, envy, jealousy, past failures, unforgiveness or doubt to operate in my life! Please show me those things that would hinder my prayers (or distract me) so that they can be positive and productive!

Heavenly Father, today I make the commitment to a deeper life of prayer. I know that You answer prayer, and I desire an effectual, fervent prayer life. Help me stay committed and disciplined. My desire is to seek You and know You. The Bible says in John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” You are my Good Shepherd, and I thank You, Lord, that You lead me, and I hear Your voice. I am listening, Lord! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
