Confession for Commitment to Prayer

Heavenly Father, today I make the commitment to a deeper life of prayer. I know that You answer prayer, and I desire an effectual, fervent prayer life. Help me stay committed and disciplined. My desire is to seek You and know You. The Bible says in John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” You are my Good Shepherd, and I thank You, Lord, that You lead me, and I hear Your voice.

When I ask for something according to God’s will, He hears my prayers. Even if I don’t know what to pray the Holy Spirit intercedes on my behalf. When I pray I release my faith as I believe God and pray in the Spirit. I believe that I receive what I ask for in Jesus’ Name.

I thank and praise God for the answer to my prayer and I believe I have the results by faith. I praise Him with my whole heart because He is good. His mercy endures forever!
