5 Ways That Faith Will Change Your Life (Part 2)

After living the faith life for many years, I’m convinced that the recent awakening of faith is a move of God. God is calling people from all denominations to live a life of power. He is revealing how to live victoriously—day in and day out, in good times and bad. Yesterday we spoke about two of the five ways that faith changes things. Today, I’m going to share the other three ways that faith in God’s WORD will change your life.

3.Faith Will Change Your Life by Making You Armed and Dangerous to the Devil

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:10-11).

All the pieces of the armor of God have one thing in common—The WORD of God. But according to Hebrews 4:2, the Word does not profit you when it’s not mixed with faith. None of these pieces of armor will do you any good without faith.

4.Faith Will Change Your Life by Helping You Grow in the Fruit of the Spirit

You can’t enjoy the fruit of the spirit unless you’re living by faith. Peter knew that. He wrote: “Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone…  Do these things, and you will never fall away” (2 Peter 1:5-7, 10).

Faith is the foundation of a godly life. Without your faith, you don’t have a base on which to build these spiritual forces.

5.Faith Will Change Your Life by Enabling You to Please God

According to Romans 14:23, “Whatsoever is not of faith is sin,” and what’s more, you can’t please God without it (Hebrews 11:6). That’s about as simple and clear as it can be. You must have faith to please your heavenly father.

Faith isn’t just a temporary movement that’s sweeping through the world. It will change your life! It’s a permanent way of life for people of God—a way that works in good times and bad, a way that works when nothing else is working. Faith is here to stay!
